Portugal, despite of being a very small country, has numerous things to offer. Whether you like to discover the unspoiled nature and extremely varied landscape, from sandy beaches to mountains, or to enjoy the most phenomenal monuments and art. Outside sports, like golf and mountain trekking can be enjoyed all year around. Don’t miss Portuguese food and wines!

North of Portugal is a very interesting alternative to those travelers, that search something different and new.

A good spot to start exploring the north would be Porto, the second biggest city that lays by the river Douro and the Atlantic Ocean. The famous Port-wine is named after the city.

Porto has an interesting mixture of historical buildings and new architecture, like Music Hall - Casa da Música. The year 2008 was dedicated to music from Nordic countries.

The Minho area is a paradise for nature lovers, with green and hilly landscape and with its rich variety of vegetation. The fruity

Green Wine comes from this region. Old manor houses offer nice and charming accommodation for tourists.
